Lifespan Speech Pathology provides holistic assessment & therapy to toddlers, preschoolers and school-aged children in the following areas:

  • Stuttering (i.e. interruptions to the flow of speech)

  • Lisps (i.e. the tongue is in the wrong spot to make particular sounds, such as saying "th" for 's')

  • Speech sounds (i.e. development of how to say sounds (articulation) and the rules of sounds (phonology) that occur in words)

  • Language (i.e. understanding & using words to express oneself-written & spoken)

  • Literacy (i.e. letter & sound awareness and so much more to develop reading skills)

  • Social skills (i.e. verbal and non-verbal behaviour's that help us to interact with others)

  • Voice (i.e. producing your optimal 'clear and effortless' voice free from strain, pain and hoarseness and improving volume)

Assessment is comprehensive & includes a formal report.

Lifespan Speech Pathology provides comprehensive and holistic assessment & therapy for people aged 18yrs + that need help in the following areas:

  • Language (i.e. speaking, listening & understanding, reading & writing and social skills)

  • Speech (i.e. slurred speech and/or interrupted speech sound production due to neurological diagnoses)

  • Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) - speaking in different ways to either support or replace your speech

  • Communication Assistive Technology (AT) - voice output devices using 'cutting-edge' technology

  • Voice preservation for people with  neuro-progressive conditions, such as Motor Neuron Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Multi-Systems Atrophy.

  • Swallowing assessments & reviews

  • Saliva assessment
