Clare McCluskey
Clare is the Director and Principal Speech Pathologist of Lifespan Speech Pathology. Clare graduated from The University of Sydney in 2006. Clare is also Mum to three delightful children, all of whom had stutters. Clare has a beautiful ability to establish rapport and make people of all ages feel at ease. You will instantly feel in safe hands with Clare as your Speech Pathologist. No problem is too big or unsolvable. Clare is committed to comprehensive assessments and evidenced-based therapies that are tailored to the individual and their goals. Clare is energetic, kind and compassionate with an art for yielding positive outcomes that enable clients to communicate to their full potential. Clare is a Clinical Educator and trains students to become successful Speech Pathologists. Clare has also provided lectures in a range of clinical and non-clinical areas at The University of Sydney and University of Technology, Sydney.

Clare's specific interests include early language development, childhood stuttering, motor speech and language disorders post-stroke and alternative augmentative communication/assistive technology & voice preservation for people with neuro-progressive conditions. Clare has such a wide range of skills and that's what makes Lifespan Speech Pathology so all-encompassing . Clare has a reputation for providing high quality service and provides specialist consultations to Speech Pathologists nationally and internationally. Clare has video publications online in the area of Motor Neuron Disease.

As Clare is a Mum, she is totally fascinated by speech and language development in children and has experienced first-hand the impacts of watching her tiny tots stutter. This has been a catalyst for Clare in bringing her expertise to the private sector. Clare has a client-centered approach and is family-centered. This makes sessions magnificently fun and engaging all while the kids become amazing communicators that are ready to show the world who they are and what they want to bring to it.
